So yeah. Wow. I've accepted a permanent employed role at Cloudflare. When they approached me over summer to lead the recruitment for their London office I was thrilled and honoured to be asked, and have really enjoyed getting to know some of the team over the interview process.
I've really enjoyed running Team Prime; having staff, building teams, running conferences, parties, giving consultancy advice and help to some amazing people and clients over the last 12 years. TWELVE! So much fun. So many great people and companies.
Why give it up?
The opportunity to join one of the most exciting companies in the world right now, doing incredible things, was too much of a draw to pass up. I love their transparency as a company, their values and how they conduct themselves. The technology is quite frankly epic, and the journey they have been on and continue to sprint along is quite something. I find it incredibly exciting to think I can be a part of it. Everyone I've met during the interview process, especially the leads in the London technology team, have only served to make me want the role more with the direction they are heading in both as a company and a team.
I'm really excited to join a company where I can create positive impact around recruitment and retention over the course of many years. To be a part of something myself, and be surrounded by so many smart people I can learn from. And wow, does Cloudflare have some seriously smart people.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of the Team Prime journey. For now, at least - Team Prime will now have a well earned rest for the foreseeable future.
Peace out.. zzzzzzz :)
